What Is Walking Netball?

Walking Netball is probably the second fastest growing Walking Sport behind the forerunner Walking Football.
It is suitable for anyone to play regardless of fitness and has no minimum age entry point. Like other Walking Sports it is an ideal sport for people who thought their playing days were over. It also offers fantastic social opportunities to help tackle social isolation.
It is also a great opportunity to develop team spirit and encourage social interaction.
Previous experience is not required and the sessions will help you regain balance, co-ordination, help maintain or even help you loose a few pounds.
There is no special kit required to play, just wear comfortable clothing along with suitable footwear such as trainers.
Sessions are split in to a warm-up to start, mini games and drills followed by a fun and friendly game.
Again the traditional rules have been adapted to cater for the players. A player must always have at least one part of the foot in contact with the court at all times.
