We are Maghull WFC, an over 50s team but not exclusive, we have been playing for approximately ten years, developing from one team to two teams. We don’t as yet have a women’s team.
We train every Monday and Wednesday evening at Active Sports Centre Mondays 6.30pm – 8.00pm / Wednesdays 7.00pm – 8.30pm
We play in two leagues:
Prescot Walking Football League, (Premier and Championship divisions) where we have been successful in a previous season in winning the league, our second team managed to win promotion and will now also play in the Premier League.
We have recently joined the Business House League, this involves us travelling to away team venues around Merseyside, Wirral and other surrounding areas to compete.
The Prescot league is played on a Sunday, monthly basis, the Business House League is more ad hoc, team managers plan and organise venues and games.
