TWO Keighley festivals return this year – and townspeople are being urged to get involved.
The Festival of Sports takes place between August 2 and 9…
And in September, Keighley Walking Festival is being held.
It will once again be dedicated to the memory of Michael Pascal, who was more popularly known by his nickname Muppett.
A co-founder of the festival, he died suddenly just weeks before last year’s event.
The 2025 festival, also organised by the town council, is being held from September 13 to 27.
Groups, organisations and social enterprises are being sought to lead walks.
Last year there were over 40 guided walks, headed up by 27 leaders.
