We’re excited to announce the re-launch of the Social Walking Cricket Hub in the Ashford district, thanks to new funding from the Ashford Leisure Trust!
To kick things off, we hosted a Walking Cricket & Tea event at the welcoming Tenterden Cricket Club. The event was a hit, with many attendees rediscovering their love for the game—some picking up a bat for the first time in over 30 years and surprising themselves with skills they thought long gone.
Tenterden Cricket Club continues to be a fantastic supporter of the Trust’s work and is now looking to partner with us to establish a permanent hub in the area.
Walking Cricket Hubs
Our Walking Cricket Hubs are open to everyone—no club affiliation or prior experience needed. It’s all about enjoying a slower-paced, inclusive version of cricket, staying active, and sharing a cuppa and some biscuits with new friends after the game.

Currently, KCCT runs six social hubs across Kent and South East London. We also host regular festivals where hubs come together to play, connect, and celebrate the joy of the game. These gatherings are a brilliant way to meet like-minded people and become part of the wider Walking Cricket community.
