About Us
Walkingsports.com is the largest independent global directory and community hub for walking sports.
Founded in 2020, we are passionate about growing the sports and supporting players, clubs, organisers, and fans worldwide. What started as a simple list of sessions has grown into the most comprehensive resource for walking sports — trusted by thousands of players and clubs across the UK, Europe, and beyond.
What We Do
- Global Directory — We maintain the world’s largest moderated directory of walking sports sessions, with over 3,700 verified listings. Every club and session is manually checked to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Official Merchandise — Through our shop, we design and sell high-quality walking sports clothing and merchandise (t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, and more). Walking Football Limited owns the UK trademark for “Walking Football” for use on the walking football items listed. For a full list, please feel free to contact us using our Contact Form below.
- Community & Social — We have a large and active presence on Facebook and X (Twitter), where we connect players, share news, and build the walking sports community.
Our Moderating Standards
At Walkingsports.com, we take accuracy and trustworthiness very seriously. Every listing in our global directory is manually checked and verified.
We moderate listings in two ways:
- We add many sessions ourselves
- We review and approve all user-submitted listings before they go live.
Every single listing is checked individually for accuracy, including session times, location, contact details, and suitability for different age groups. We do not automatically publish submissions.
To keep information up to date, we regularly contact listing owners (usually every 6–12 months) to confirm details or request updates. If we cannot verify a listing or receive no response over time, we may remove or archive it.
Each listing also includes a direct contact form, allowing visitors to get in touch with the club or session organiser quickly and easily.
This careful, hands-on approach is why Walkingsports.com is trusted as the largest and most reliable independent walking football directory since 2020.
Our Mission
We believe walking football should be accessible, safe, enjoyable, and inclusive for adults of all ages and abilities. Our goal is to support the growth of the sport by providing accurate information, inspiring stories, quality resources, and a trusted platform for everyone involved.
Whether you are a player looking for a local session, a club organiser wanting more visibility, or someone simply curious about the sport, Walkingsports.com is here to help.
