Alzheimers Care Alliance of Southwest Florida launches Walking Soccer for Brain Health Sarasota

The Alzheimer’s Care Alliance of Southwest Florida is launching a Walking Soccer for Brain Health league in Sarasota starting Oct. 24 at 9:30 a.m. at 8000 Hawkins Road (fields adjacent to Suncoast Community Church). Sarasota High soccer players are volunteering as referees and coaches.

Walking Soccer for Brain Health – a new walking soccer program to support brain health and wellness in Sarasota. Join a fun, inclusive activity for older adults to stay active, connected, and engaged.

Simple rules: No running, no physical contact, and small-sided teams, with a focus on fun, safe participation.
