County Walking Cricket Team

A County Walking Cricket Team launches this summer in Surrey in association with the Surrey Cricket Foundation.

Training sessions will be weekly on a Thursday at Cobham Avorians Cricket club. Sessions will run from 10.30am to 12.00pm.

Retired men and women of all abilities are welcome to attend the Walking Cricket sessions.

You will not need any equipment to take part as a soft ball will be used. So no need for pads, gloves and a helmet.

Sessions are open to both men and women with sides of 10 players per team.

An away match has already been organised against Yorkshire this summer.

If you would like to join the County Walking Cricket team you can register your interest by emailing Darren Talbot on [email protected]. Alternatively if you prefer, you can text or WhatsApp on 07912 873591
