Scarborough Athletic Football Club are pleased to announce that they have been successful in applying for funding from the Trident Community Foundation to undertake a number of community initiatives.

The initiatives range from Walking Football, Coaching Bursaries, the Football Buddy programme and a project that takes football sessions to Filey, Eastfield, Barrowcliff and Scarborough town, this will be aimed at children and young people.

The objective of these initiatives is to make football accessible to all and over the coming weeks and months we will be releasing more details as the projects take shape.

As we are coming out of a long period where we have had to follow the necessary restrictions, it now looks like we can see a relaxing of the rules and, with this in mind, we are hoping to launch Scarborough Athletic Walking Football Club as the first of our community initiatives.

We are aiming for the 29th March as a start date at the Flamingo Land Stadium and hopefully coincide with an easing of the current restrictions.
