The press room of the Sports Offices of the San Fernando City Council welcomed the presentation of the new initiative launched by the Bahía SFCD School, coinciding with its 30th anniversary: the School of Walking Fútbol for the elderly.
The event was attended by the Sports Councilor, Antonio Rojas, and the school’s director, Juan José Ramírez. It is a totally free initiative that is launched this May and which already has nearly fifty people signed up. Initially it will last until next June, it will stop for the summer and return in September
The Walking Soccer is a soccer modality for over 55s (men and women of any level) that avoids any health risk: it is played walking and there is no contact, among other rules.
