Derek Murr, Chairman and Secretary of the Suffolk and Essex Border Walking Football League is pleased to announce that Jenny Hill, of Clacton Rhinos Walking Football Club has agreed to join the League’s Committee and take on the new role of Women’s Walking Football Development Officer.
In this new role, Jenny will support the League’s Committee in the growth of numbers of women participating in walking football locally, across all groups and will with other members of the Committee work towards increasing the number of women’s’ teams in the S&EBWFL Women’s Division for Season 2022 onwards.
Derek Murr says, “I have worked with Jenny on several walking football projects over the last couple of years and I hope everybody will join me in thanking Jenny on taking on this new role. I am very confident Jenny will make a huge success of this new initiative. In her new role as the League’s Women’s Football Development Officer, her main duties will include, the planning and co-ordinating and delivering football participation programmes for women aged 30 years+ across all diverse communities.”
