Team Canada Walking Soccer to open Southern Alberta Summer Games
The Southern Alberta Summer games will kick off on Wednesday in Coaldale, in conjunction with the grand opening of the Shift Community Recreation Centre.
The grand opening ceremony will take place at noon on Wednesday, July 3rd with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a guided tour of the new facility. There will be a plethora of activities in the area throughout the afternoon leading up to the opening ceremonies of the Summer Games.
After the ceremonies, which start at 6:30 p.m., Team Canada will compete in a walking soccer exhibition match.
