Walking Cricket is a slower paced, indoor format of the game ideal for men and women aged 50 plus, Walking Cricket is the perfect way to remain involved with the game and meet new people whilst staying active.
Lincolnshire Cricket work in partnership with Everyone Active and North Lincolnshire Council to deliver Walking Cricket through their Active Ageing programmes as well as Age UK Lincoln and South Lincolnshire.
• Barton-upon-Humber – Barton Community Hub at Baysgarth Leisure Centre hosts Walking Cricket on Thursdays from 2-3pm for £3.80 with the first session free. More information is available from Tel: 01724 297 270 or email: community.recreation@northlincs.gov.uk
• Gainsborough – Walking Cricket takes place at West Lindsey Leisure Centre, Gainsborough, every Wednesday from 12:00-1:00pm. Cost is £3 or free to members. More information is available from Trish Breslin, on either Tel: 07783 929 530 or PatriciaBreslin@everyoneactive.com
• Lincoln – Walking Cricket sessions take place in Lincoln in partnership with Age UK. The sessions are on Mondays, from 7th April 2025 at Moorland Community Centre, from 2:30-3:30pm and cost £2 each. To book your place call: 03455 564 144.
