Walking Cricket in Worcestershire
Worcestershire Cricket are proud to announce the launch of five new Walking Cricket hubs for 2022. Hubs will take place in Dudley, Worcester, Evesham and Redditch. All sessions are turn up and play, there’s no need to pre-book and everybody get their first session for free!
Each participant will be asked to fill in a simple health questionnaire at the start of each session.
Walking Cricket is a slower paced version of the game that we all love. It’s a game for everyone!
Walking Cricket gives the opportunity for people to play the game that is more accessible than other current formats.
As the name suggests, the game is played at walking pace. Walking Cricket delivers cricket skills to players of all ages and abilities.
This format provides an exciting way to keep fit and active for those may not have played for a while, those whose injuries may have stopped them playing, or for completely new players to the game.
