Profile
Hit Out at Dementia is our programme targeted to individuals aged 50 and above, who may be at risk or have dementia, lost and/or care for someone with dementia or individuals who just want to improve their physical, mental & social fitness.
Walking cricket is a common modification for older adults, to maintain participation in a sport while being safe due to a slower pace. Hit Out at Dementia takes place every Friday 12-2pm, based at Manor Farm Community Centre, Walsall.
The cricket is followed by an optional social hour 2-3pm where tea and coffee are available which also provides an opportunity for everyone to socialise. In addition to this, informative workshops occasionally take place.
