With trials only 4 weeks away, we would like to confirm that due to the Monday, April 26 NOT being a Public Holiday, we have moved the Trials a day forward to the Sunday April 25. This will allow all interstate travelers playing at QUT the opportunity to participate.

At this stage, we are looking into playing the Trials at Meakin Park Slack’s Creek. This has yet to be confirmed.

The cost to participate in the trials is $10.00 per player with all funds still going to Club Oxley to assist them as they continue to grow.

For full transparency, WF Australia will use only neutral selectors to oversee the Trials with all players (local & interstate) having a fair opportunity to be selected.

It is very important to note that Football is all about OPINIONS, on this occasion, the Trials will be about the SELECTORS OPINION ONLY.

It is very important for all stakeholders involved that everyone participating in the trails start on an equal footing.

We have had comments that playing 2 days straight is a tough gig after QUT and while we agree it’s tough, for those selected to play in Australia colors, this will highly likely this will be the case in international tournaments and other events.

We have been asked by the IWFF to host the “Asia Cup 2022′ here in Australia, June/July. Talks with Football Australia about assisting us to achieve this are in the early stages but looking very promising. We are currently forming a “working group” to assist in this process with hopefully more exciting news to come soon.
