Walking football has become increasingly popular. It’s exactly what it sounds like – a standard game of football where players walk instead of run.
It’s designed to help people get fit or maintain an active lifestyle no matter what their age and fitness, as well as support people getting back into football if they have given it up due to age or injury.
Teams will play different variations of the basic rules but the only real rule is simple – (NO RUNNING!)
The Pars Foundation walking football sessions are open to men or women over the age of 35 this means that former FFIT participants can take part.
The Pars Foundations over 35`s walking football takes place indoors at Queen Anne High School, Monday, 6pm-7pm. Bookable via the website
Sessions are capped at 12 players per session with a 4-week commitment of £5 per session to be paid in advance to secure your place.
