Dementia friendly walking football

If you’re into football and you or a friend have been diagnosed with dementia, why not get involved in our dementia friendly walking football sessions?

Sessions will take place at the Taro Leisure Centre in Petersfield and will involve dementia-friendly five-a-side style football, assisted by coaches and volunteers with dementia training.

They will include dementia-friendly equipment such as soft, brightly coloured footballs, to make those playing feel as comfortable as possible.

The Taro Centre, Petersfield on Mondays at 11am

Volunteers will need to take part in appropriate FA qualifications and Dementia Friendly training which is free of charge.

Dementia friendly walking football is being provided in partnership with Everyone Active, Right at Home Havant & Petersfield and Dementia Friendly Petersfield.
