Walking Sports with St Helen’s Council Fit Forever programme – delivers fun, physical activity sessions across St Helens.
Our aim is to improve health, happiness and wellbeing among our local residents aged approximately 60+.
There are lots of activities to choose from including badminton, boccia, bowls, darts, new age curling and table tennis, all which you can do at your own pace, and there’s plenty of time to socialise too!
Wednesday 7 – 8pm Sutton Leisure Centre Walking football (email for more information) £2.50 per session
Friday 1 – 2pm Queens Park Health & Fitness – a mix of fun activities, including walking football, walking basketball, walking netball, badminton and tennis – £1.50 for non-members/FREE for members
Whether you want to improve your health, become more active or just meet new friends, there’s something for everyone!
All activities are designed to be gentle and suitable for all levels of ability.
