We have a group of 12 – 14 players aged from 50 to 76 who all compete with and against each other on an equal basis of who about 8 to 10 turn up to play.
For this reason we are always looking for new players so that the ones on the pitch have a chance to give their aching bones a rest during the evening.
All that do come along have a really great time and relive the distant past when they played competitive football.
If you feel that you would never play football again, then come along and have a look and see if it’s for you before you decide if you want to play.
The sessions take place on Friday evenings 7.30 to 8.30pm at Earls Barton Bowls and Tennis Club where they have kindly given us use of a tennis court for this period.
The cost is £3.00 per session.
We all then retire to the bar for a much-needed drink.
