Walking football was invented in 2011, and is a variant on traditional game. It is slowed down to walking pace to make it more accessible to a range of people, including those with mobility problems or disabilities. This is an effective and gentle way to stay active and socialise with people who have similar interests
This session is for those aged 50 and over who enjoy playing football.
We can provide a ball, the space to play in and an enthusiastic coach.
