Strode College Sports Centre

Local Somerset Walking Football session looking for new players! We need a minimum of 10 players per week, ideally 12. We have a core group of 16 players, but injuries & other commitments mean we can rarely get the minimum number together.

We have made some progress in increasing the numbers & have managed to play with only 5-a-side; Ideally we would like 6-7-a-side each week.

Our sessions are at 7 p.m. each Friday at Strode College Sports Centre in Street, Somerset. The cost is £4 per session.

Most of the players are 50+ & male but we are happy to welcome any age & gender – a young girl in her mid-20s has just started playing & seems to be enjoying it
