New walking netball evening session to launch in Knutsford

A new Friday evening Walking Netball session is launching in Knutsford.

It will start on September 11 at 5.30pm at the Everybody Health and Leisure Centre.

Walking Netball is a gentler version of the game and is open to everyone, regardless of experience.

Sessions are run by the Knutsford Netters, a team established in 2025 and affiliated with England Netball.

A spokesman for the group said: “Whether you want to get a bit fitter, meet new people, make new friends, or just have a laugh while playing netball again, we’d love to see you.

“We enjoy social events too!

“Come along and give it a try – you’ll get a really warm welcome from the Knutsford Netters!”

Each session is led by coach Georgia Williams or trained hosts and includes a warm-up, skills and drills, short games and a cool-down.

A Wednesday morning session also runs each week at 10am.

The new Friday session joins the existing Wednesday meeting to offer more opportunities for people to get involved.
