Epsom is aiming to make tennis more accessible by offering walking tennis sessions.

The free activity is running in Alexandra Park every Thursday from 1.30–2.30pm for the next five weeks.

It’s aimed at beginners and those returning to tennis after injury, illness or maternity.

A slower version of the game is played on smaller courts using softer balls and modified rules, which is particularly aimed at over-55s.
