As Wimbledon fever grips the nation, Age UK Bromley & Greenwich is thrilled to serve up a brand new opportunity to get active, gently.
Thanks to funding from the Greenwich Healthier Communities Fund and in partnership with TwistFizz Active, we’re launching a free 5-week Walking Tennis programme exclusively for Greenwich residents aged 50 and over.
Walking Tennis is a slower-paced version of the traditional game, making it ideal for beginners, those with reduced mobility or anyone simply looking for a fun way to stay fit and social. All equipment is provided and no previous experience is necessary, just bring comfortable shoes and a willingness to give it a go!

Free Walking Tennis
The sessions take place every Friday from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Eltham Park South (Glenesk Road, SE9 1AN). Participants will be guided through the basics in a relaxed, supportive environment led by qualified coaches from TwistFizz Active.
